Behavior
Feeding (burrow)
Likely maker
Unknown; worms, crustaceans or insect larvae have been suggested, and some Ediacaran–Cambrian burrows resemble those of modern priapulids.
Age range
Its first appearance defines the base of the Cambrian (the Ediacaran–Cambrian boundary, about 539 million years ago). The genus ranges from the Ediacaran (about 550 Ma) to the Oligocene.
